An open kitchen, shared platters, and flowing wine – Bacan was built as a place to enjoy delicious food and good conversations. In March 2020, we were forced to shut down our dining room. Of course, we miss the banter, celebrations, and warmth of the restaurant, but keeping our community safe is our top priority.

In response to the crisis, we created a COVID-friendly menu that can be easily ordered and enjoyed in the safety of your home. We have seen the strength, positivity, and support of our community through these times. With everyone’s commitment to Toronto’s safety procedures, we hope to see you, cook for you, and laugh with you in person very soon.

We’re committed to providing you with authentic Argentine and Venezuelan dishes you know and love, with your health as our top priority. Currently, Bacan is following the guidance and recommendations from Public Health Ontario and Toronto Public Health. In addition, we are constantly evaluating our standard procedures to keep our community safe.

Food Safety

  • All employees are required to wear gloves and face masks throughout the entire production process.
  • Our employees have also doubled the length of time and frequency for hand-washing  
  • Anyone that experiences flu-like symptoms or have come into contact with symptomatic individuals are advised not to report to work
